Hierarchical Business Structure

In FossLook you can easily build an organization structure of any complexity. The simplest kind of organizational structure is the linear one. In this case only one person manages all the processes of an enterprise - the head director. He receives information only from his direct subordinates and then makes critical decisioins. This way of organization provides efficient management and decision-making process, eliminates duplication of powers and contradictory orders. Let's see how to create a simple organization structure.

So, the first step is to start FossLook administrator. After that, the whole process is quite intuitive - just click the "Add Department" button, enter your department name and click "Save".

Next, you can go to the "Users" tab, and create a couple of users. You'll see all users in the system listed out there.

You can change properties of every department and user within the system.
